Need to Purchase Team Insurance?

NW Nations and Chappell Insurance have teamed up to offer teams a discounted sports insurance program.

***Insurance policies are sold by the calendar year. The 2018 year calendar policy will be available to purchase by mid-December. ***

 

  • NW Nations does not require teams to purchase insurance through us.

 

  • NW Nations does not require teams to have team insurance in order to participate in NW Nations events, but advises that you do have team coverage.

Does this insurance cover my team if I play in any organization? Yes, It covers you for practice and in any amateur association.

How do you add an additional insured? When you make the original purchase you will have a place to enter that information during the purchase process. If you want to add an additional insured after you purchase you log back in to the system with your login information (email/password) and click on the button to add the additional insured.

What is the maximum number of players allowed on a baseball team? 20 players.

When do team insurance policies expire? From purchase date to January 1st.

Who is covered by the team secondary accident medical insurance?
Secondary accident medical coverage is provided for all players and coaches.

Who is covered by team general liability insurance?
General Liability coverage is provided for players, coaches, sponsors, bat/ball boys, scorekeepers, and other team volunteers.

What is the policy limit and deductible on the accident medical insurance? The secondary accident medical limit is $100,000 for youth/$10,000 for adults per occurrence, with a $250, $500 or $1000 deductible for youth and a $500 and $1000 deductible for adults.

What is the policy limit and deductible per team on the general liability insurance? The general liability limit is $2,000,000 per occurrence / $5,000,000 aggregate per team limit, with no deductible.

I need an additional insured certificate for a facility owner. How do I Proceed? Go to www.chappellinsurance.com, log in, click on “ Add Additional Insured”. Your certificate can be printed/emailed from the website.
